4 Week Mega Food Supply

Just got the second part of my order and all looks great. Packages are all well done and stack with ease. It's a nice piece of mind to have emergency food.

Pros. Packaged well. Quick ship. Cons Pricey. Lots of mostly empty carb calories. Came with no list of the contents of the calorie booster bucket or nutrition information for it. I sent an email to the contact email asking for such info but never got a reply. The orange drink is basically orange colored sugar water with a tinge of pink to it. It has little or no orange flavor. I thought it might be their version of tang but it was nothing like tang. It's about what one would expect of such an assortment of long term storage food at this price point. Nothing really wrong with what it is, but go into a purchase of such a thing understanding what you are getting. It might best be used as camping food. More cost effective than other options. It has the big advantage of being relatively easy to prepare without having to do much more than heat up some water. You could save money and buy the ingredients yourself and make something similar but it would be a fair amount of work. What you are mostly buying is convenience and not having to worry much about preparing meals in a bad situation you might find yourself in. One less thing to worry about. These kind of assortments are probably best looked at as a short term thing. Buy a few weeks or months worth of food you don't have to worry much about preparing in a bad situation. I would not be buying more than a few months worth though. Gets you thru a short bad time or the start of a longer bad time, or a nice camping trip.
