Hiboy U2 Pro and S2R Scooters
I decided to wait before leaving a review. I wanted to try out the scooter, test customer service, and see how shipping would go. So now that all these actions have occurred and the scooter has about 10-miles on it (various terrains), I think it’s time to post a review. BTW, I don’t typically post reviews unless I’m impressed or conversely, disappointed.
I started this “purchase journey” by reaching out to HiBoy for advice. Since this was my first scooter purchase, and ignorant to the scooter world, and because I was buying for both my wife and myself, I desperately needed help (both of us at the 60yr +/- age). I had to know which would be the safest, transportable, and able to easily conquer most terrains; speed wasn’t a priority. So, I contacted customer service (Ms. Grace), she almost immediately responded, we corresponded 3-4 times. She provided sound advice and recommendations; I was immediately impressed with customer service (so far so good). Based on Ms. Grace’s suggestions, I purchased the Hiboy U2 Pro w/16” fat tires (for me) and the Hiboy S2R for my wife, and then awaited shipment/delivery (from CA to FL). Within a week I had both scooters, which by the way, were easy to assemble. My wife and I have ridden them 3X so far and have enjoyed every minute/mile, both scooters are more powerful than we imagined; they both reach 20-24mph and we’ve not yet had to re-charge the batteries.
In summation, from start of researching (email correspondence w/Grace), to purchase, shipment, assembly, to riding, we are very pleased with our new Hiboy Scooters. If unsure which brand or model to go with, I highly recommend contacting Hiboy customer service, I have no doubt you’ll be hooked to purchase one of theirs versus a competitor, and once in your possession, you’ll be glad you did.
