I began learning and making music on the piano so melodies and chords have always come sort of natural to me. Drums are a whole different story. I make okay drum patterns on my own but they usually end up sounding basic and boring, leaving me feeling stumped. Using the Syfer midi series, especially the hi hat bundle, levels up my drums and adds a complexity that I don’t think I could have created alone. Would DEFINITELY recommend.
