I recently purchased a 4th pair of Bridgers and also bought a pair of Katabatic RTs for the first time. They have similar out-of-the-box comfort and fit that I've come to expect from Oboz. Have not yet worn them in rain/wet conditions. They breath well. The sole and tread feel is great. I have been looking for the solid support of the Bridger in a lighter shoe, and these provide that.

Very comfortable, durable, and fully waterproof as presented! Will never wear another shoe.

Quality Control Issue

I have had several good experiences with Oboz, and it's sad to write this review-- however, I received a shoe with a significant quality control issue. The right shoe, at the point where the tongue attaches to side of the shoe, has a sizable lump, presumably from too much stitching being used to secure the tongue to the side. The left shoe does not have this lump. I wasn't positive how significant this lump would be, so I wore it out on a hike. (this, I realized later, disqualified me from a return-- the lesson being to buy oboz through rei, and with their return policy). The lump caused significant bruising on my left foot, and I believe that these shoes will not be usable in the future. With that significant issue aside, these weren't my favorite shoes: they do have a rigidity that is comfortable, but I am unimpressed by the grip of the vibram sole. They are not as lightweight as I wanted them to be.
