Zipper is poorly placed

We bought this bed for our 2 puppy chihuahua rescues to sleep on in their crate. It is a very nice quality bed, however, the zipper is very poorly placed and allowed the puppies to get at it and open it up and as a result, ripped the stuffing out from inside of the tube. We have had a different model of a Bowser bed for many many years. I’ve never had a similar issue because there were two zippers that could be very well hidden.
