2 x 3' Maple Syrup Evaporator

As I was researching which evaporator to purchase, I had a few questions, so I clicked on the "Need Help" button expecting to get an automated response. That was not the case! I immediately got a response from one of the owners to patiently and quickly answered all the questions I had along the way. The shipping process was super easy and quick. Once the evaporator arrived, it was immediately clear that I made the best decision in purchasing a Bassett Maple Co. product. I have owned other evaporators over the years (I live within a half hour of a well-known competitor's location) and can tell you Bassett Maple Co. makes a very well made product. I look forward to many years to come spending time with my family in the "sugar shack" creating memories making syrup with our Bassett Maple Co. 2x3 as the centerpiece. Thank you guys for creating an evaporator that I will be able to hand down to my sons!

I purchased the 2' x 3' evaporator with the divided pan and it worked great this past season! So much faster than doing it on the kitchen stove or over an open fire. The wood was easy to load through the front door and the heat was pretty evenly distributed throughout the pan. The valve on the pan made pouring off a breeze. The ground under the unit didn't get very warm. I'd highly recommend this unit. I tapped 12 trees and we made about 2.5 gallons of syrup this year.

First year doing anything with Maple Syrup, decided to buy the 2x3 Evaporator and have not been disappointed. Evaporator works great and does its job very well.
