These are very nice flip flops. I ordered the next larger size so my feet wouldn’t hang off back & sides. The problem is Reef has changed the material used that goes between your toes. It is too hard. The material is still doubled the softer part is just on the back. What I mean is the softer part touches only the back. Just like before the softness needs to touch all parts of the skin between the toes. I’ve worn Reef flip flops since the 90’s (didn’t make flip flops for women then). The material used even in 2010’s was soft, doubled, and flexible. The material moved as the foot moved. The firmness of this piece now offers little flexibility. I NEVER had any issues with the softer material detaching from the shoe. Nothing stays the same I am very aware of that. The softer flexible material between the toe of REEF is one important factors in buying high end flip flops. Selling arch support flip flops is the other. Flip Fits never offered soft material in their store.
