Buyer Beware- DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. It only costs a little more to go first class and this brand is the economy seat by the toilets. Pros: Good-looking luggage with descent size options. Large bag was true to size and held a good amount of clothes. Not bad for car trips. Cons: Low quality build, poor materials, customer service a solid “meh”, terrible warranty and return policy. Exterior material is very weak and does not hold up to handling. First flight, exterior was scuffed and there was some friction melting. Second flight those scuffs became frays. Third flight, stitching completely tore from the exterior zippered pocket exposing a large hole in the bag. A bag marketed for checking needs to withstand more than three flights of even rough treatment before showing the equivalent of multi-year wear from other brands. I could tolerate the weak material but… Delsey’s “warranty” solution to their stitching ripping apart from inside the suitcase? You can send it to a repair shop nowhere near your home and you can cover the cost of shipping. The $100 in round trip shipping could just buy a brand of luggage that holds up from the start. Bottom line, look on the baggage claim carousel and see what brand others are using. You won’t see many Delsey Paris, that's because they're in the trash.
