I cannot stop the whistling

The rack fit perfect and function as needed. But the whistling is becoming very bothersome.

Very easy to install and it seemed to be made of good quality.

It took us about five hours to install these and then we realized that in order to get the wind blocking strips in we needed to perform acrobatics with our hands (you’d think they’d just pop in and stay but they do not!) So the directions say that they are optional for noise reduction, and at this point in our exhaustion we took that as a stopping point. Two minutes into our first drive the whistling noise was so bad we had to stop the car at a park and uninstall the racks from the top of the car. I would like to return them, although according to RACK WAREHOUSE return policy since they’ve been installed, it doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to do that so now I’m stuck with a purchase that I now regret.
