Fav scents were Asian Bakery and Matcha Cloud

Bought this to try Asian Bakery and had a lot of fun sampling the different scents! I really enjoyed Asian Bakery as well as Matcha Cloud and Taro Ice Cream, though I found White Rabbit and Taro Ice Cream pretty similar but still liked them both. Jasmine Green Tea and Asian Bakery help balance out the set in my opinion since the scents in this set very sweet. I liked them all and I’m happy I got to try them!

Wow I am so impressed by this discovery set! It’s exactly what I was hoping for. I have been looking for more rice, bready, milky tea type scents and this literally has it all! I am obsessed with so many of them and now I have to decide which full sizes to get first because I fear I want quite a few! Also I will for sure be looking into getting some of them in candle form as well because I think they would be perfect for a living room or kitchen!

Gourmand Goodness

Debated on doing three, but due to the exceptional pricing, I chose four stars. These fragrances are incredibly unique the bakery has a yeast/salty smell, the matcha has the gritty bitterness of true tea, and I’m never really a vanilla girl but white rabbit became oddly my favorite. I’m not too thrilled with the jasmine tea (which is why I bought it) only because I was looking for more of the warmth of tea, a creaminess not by actual cream but the idea of warm tea. It’s way more just true jasmine oil. If you’re looking for straight jasmine oil, this is it. If you’re looking for jasmine tea, it missed the edible, warm aspect of tea. Also the other two, taro and bubble tea smell the exact same. They’re not really wearable due to the excessive sweetness of the tapioca smell that I can’t see working with anyone’s chemistry, and although they’re unique, they’re not unique to each other. Anyways, it was a fail for what I wanted, I found two knew favs, and a miss for the two I doubted when I ordered so I’m not too disappointed in that. For the price, and the essence of what a discovery set is, worth every penny.
