Borea - BR04

These are a great value. They look very classy and sound amazing. I listen mostly to classical and jazz. These are detailed without being too bright. Very happy with them. Highly recommend!

It’s a great speaker that I wish was presented more alongside the Elac and Klipsch. The speakers have a nice warm sound that can get to surprising low end before eq. I just wish at was a little more defined in around the 2k -1k hz for giving a polished sound to the violins and voices. When I first got them there was a hiss when nothing is being played but I don’t either notice or hear it without looking for it. Overall it is a great speaker with a premium look and sound.

Excellent sound signature, easy on the years. Nice, clean design with some flair to it. Engineering compromises lean in the right direction: function over form. For example, vinyl exterior but high quality, tactile, metal binding posts. My only suggestion is an operational one; please use FedEx or any carrier other than UPS. My box arrived with the outer box-bottom totally disintegrated/waterlogged. UPS themselves had a green sticker on it where someone decided it was ok to not rewrap and ship ahead anyway. If it hadn’t been for the second box inside, you would be looking at an extremely unhappy customer. This reflects multiple past experiences with UPS.
