Suunto 9 Peak Pro All Black

I love this watch. I originally got it for the heart rate and step count features, but now I find myself using every function it offers. The app integration is seamless and i have nothing bad to report so far.

Great quality hardware, software needs some polish.

The watch overall is of great quality. I like a lot of the UI, but there are a few things that are clunky. The countdown timer alarm is very discreet. So discreet, that if you're sleeping, you won't feel it, and if you miss the window, it just turns itself off. It should keep buzzing until I turn it off. It also requires 6 button presses to activate even when it's a shortcut. Max of 4 would seem more appropriate. Texting notifications flash for 0.5 sec on the screen. I would expect 4-5 seconds. Text is also truncated which seems silly. Removing the ... at the end of a text where it actually shows the whole text would help. I never know if I've read the full text or not so it defeats the purpose of checking a quick text on my watch. The music controller only connects for a bit after a fresh phone (Galaxy S25) and watch reboot. Usually, it doesn't work.
