LEGEND 02 ORIGINALS

Back in the early 80s I owned a pair that I bought at Costco for $75. 00,which back in those days was a lot for a pair of sunglasses. I really like the fact that the lenses are made of glass rather than plastic, and the quality has been kept up for all these years, although I do notice that the frames, (still made in France) seem to be a bit cheaper, materials/wise. I had my original pair for almost 20 years and I was rafting the deschutes river in Oregon, (which is where I live, for the last 45+years) and going through Boxcar,( class 3 rapids) I was thrown out of the raft and into the river and unfortunately the river ate my Vuarnet's. It was a sad day. It was very difficult to spend the over $200. 00 on a pair of sunglasses, but I have always wanted to replace my old favorites, well I finally have, don't expect any further purchases from me because I now have what I have always wanted and in my opinion nothing but the 02 originals are worth it. And so you have it. . . my review.

Incredible. The style and quality of Vuarnet is unparalleled. Nuff said

These have a lot of nostalgia for me but for running and racing not great. Slippery. Lens are great I might want another pair for racing. Spencer
