Wadd: The Life & Times of John C. Holmes

Excellent release for a rather dated documentary

Though I feel like the subject matter could use a fresh pair of eyes and deeper dig into Holmes’ life and times, This is one of those discs where you can tell within the first few minutes that you’re watching the best version out there. The improvement is obvious, and the care behind the release is impossible to miss. Worth a purchase if you are curious about the man, the myth!

A great documentary on the legend himself, Johnny Wadd, John C. Holmes. Includes both his wives, many of his co-stars and manager along with Holmes himself. Good commentary and well worth owning even for modest fans of the The King.
