Great quality, interesting design.

Let me start by saying the quality is incredible. I have always really enjoyed modular components, and Builtright is impressively modular—however, these mounts leave something to be desired. I suggest removing the branding from the middle and making it a Molle mount. I was disappointed when I found the top and bottom holes were not of the Molle pattern. Maybe move the branding between the mounting holes and leave the front for functionality. I would call the Molle panels an investment at their price point, so I figured these would be a great place to test out a few ideas. Maybe in the next version...

I failed geometry...

The construction of the mounting plates significantly heavier than I expected. this pleased me. Installation went fine with no issues. My experience is the tie down strap hooks that i have, which I believe are the most common size, have a geometry that makes getting them secured a bit of a twist & jiggle production. To save time I will probably fit a locking link to each anchor point and then attach to that. ABsolutely rock solid construction; I'd just like to see the opening enlarged a bit to accomodate the hook geometry. I'm pleased enough though that6 I do intend to order some other itmes because if they are built as solidly as these, I can't go wrong.
