Golden Shores - Protective Surf Hat

Unfortunately I have only had one opportunity to wear it but it stayed on extremely well despite two of my biggest falls off foil so far. It’s nice and light, I’m pretty happy with the product.

I have a very big head. I measured my head to be just within the size of their largest hat. I measured very carefully. It is very TIGHT and possibly too tight to wear. I will see if I can stretch it to be comfortable after a few uses. The strap is too SHORT to close under my chin so I have to modify that somehow as well. I think that may be a flaw because it is too short to make sense. Also the plastic "protective shell" was installed backwards. Not a big deal to reverse. If you have a big head like me and it pushes the upper end of the measurement. . . beware. If I had a tiny head like you I would probably love the hat.

fits well, comfortable. seems to provide adequate protection. Reasonable price.
