Powder Coating - Ink Black - Gloss

Really nice finish

I recently purchased three different colors of the powder coating and am really happy with the way it looks and feels when finished, it really is beautiful and very durable. I do have a question though - I was able to pry the hook off of the finished powder coated pieces, but I'm left with a pointy nub where the hook was touching the coated piece. Any suggestions on how to avoid this? I'm going to try transferring the piece to a cold hook after the initial heating, or maybe after coating the piece but before putting it back in the oven for the final step. I'm thinking the powder won't stick to a cold hook. Thoughts??
