After shopping around, I decided on the FVCO rear tire carrier because of it's excellent construction, super nice welds and ease of installation. Also, it's made of aluminum which makes it lighter and will never rust like the others. Although installation is easier with 2 people, I was able to install it myself in just under an hour. It looks great and I couldn't be happier!

Great Tire Carrier - Easy installation- Awesome Customer Service!

I was a little intimidated when considering the purchase of a rear tire carrier for my Sprinter. After doing research and watching various manufacturer's installation videos as well as listening to other customer reviews of all the tire carriers on the market I chose the FVCO one. The box arrived well packed ensuring there would be no damage during shipment. After setting up a portable table, I opened the box and spread out all the parts and felt less overwhelmed because so much was included to help with the install. I am not a big DIY person but after watching the FVCO again, I was able to completer the installation in under an hour. The fit is awesome and looks great. I will add that FedEx had a mishap during shipping only delivering part of the shipment. I called customer service and a real live person answered the phone, Ashley and she was awesome in calling FedEx to resolve the delivery issue. In today’s world, having someone answer the phone and go right into action is rate. Five stars and I look forward to my next purchase!
