Difficulty getting the earbuds to snugly fit in my ear

I'm having some difficulty getting the earbuds to snugly fit in my ear. I have tried all the sizes. It would also be helpful to have more thorough instructions. I had to really search to figure out how to enable and mute the microphone. I will say the sound is quite good.
