Savoy rattan basket
The finish on this basket is very dark - almost black, which is not what I was expecting. It looks as thought the varnish/stain has been put on rather thickly and then not finished off. Other pieces of rattan I have less thick varnish or the varnish has been wiped off in places to give a more nuanced finished colour. I am returning this item.

Beautiful product
We are so impressed with the quality of the baskets. As an interior designer, I will pay for quality and these are well worth the price. Wish they had more in stock.
