I bought the lantern about 5 years ago. It was losing brightness and needed new batteries. But, I couldn’t remember which end they went in. Needless to say, I broke it. But it was all my fault. I loved that little lantern and so did my adult daughter. So not only did I buy myself a replacement but also one for her. She too thinks it’s great. I would highly recommend this product and buy a large pack of AA Duracell batteries. You’ll always have a great, super bright light. Great for light in lighting up storage crawl spaces in the house, as well as when extra light is needed anywhere in or out of the house. I also bought a rechargeable TacLight Flashlight about 5 years ago. Loved it until the usb port you plug the end into the flashlight, wasn’t there anymore. It fell inside and was out of warranty. I bought a cheap Everyready rechargeable one with most of the functions of the TacLight.

Extremely bright! The only reason I gave it four stars is because there's no way to dim it down a little bit when it's fully open

No Batteries! Be Warned! No where does it say that these are without Batteries. Be prepared to spend 100$ on lithium batteries, 3 per each because I bought 8. I think it’s Deceptive not to state No Batteries Included
