Great rod. Paired up with a Shimano Vanford 12 lb flurocarbon, perfect for inshore , back bat speed ies. Rod is lightweight easy to travel with strong and durable. Excellent .

Nexus is awesome

Love these rods, so versatile. The travel rod is sweet, had it out on small tarpon, snook and even small mangrove snapper. Back home the non-travel rods have handled plenty of big stripers (40lbs +) all the way down to jigging black seabass and scup with the kids.
