Metal Monthly Dice Subscription Box

The subscription boxes (both metal and acrylic) are as boring as the blind bags. On the positive, the dice are legible, meaning the numbers are easy to see. The reson for this is the dice are incredibly basic, being just one or two colors and no real design flares or anything exciting. As a dice goblin, that would be fine, if the peice wasn’t so high for a blind aubscription. When you then recieve a dice that are a very basic green and black (for the regular box) or a set that is metal, but basic iron color with no special style or engraving (for the metal box), it provided disappointment when my subscription arrived, and I was left without conversation pieces or dice muses to inspire new character concepts. 1/5 stars

February’s monthly metal dice were really disappointing, while the design itself was fairly good the quality of them was shockingly bad, they started chipping away almost instantly, the order had come in during a campaign I run for my friends so I was able to open them up and put them to use right away, but after two or three rolls the paint on the dice began to chip away, I was quite upset to see this because I have not had issues with the dozens of other sets I have gotten from this company, I am really hoping that March’s monthly metal dice are nothing like this.

I bought this subscription for my nephew's birthday & every set is beautiful. Its been a wonderful gift, something he can look forward to and a great bonding tool as he's 18 now & i want too keep our bond strong as he goes out to start his life. The metal dice are great & you can never have too many!! Thank you dice envy!
