Snow Mix Darker than Expected

All of the online pictures and videos made the snow mix wig appear to be lighter than is really the case. It gets pretty dark on the sides and back. Also, the density is more than expected. That said the cap construction is beautiful with a realistic hairline and the hair fibers are lovely and not as shiny as I feared they would be. There is a weird bump in the lower back. All this can be addressed. I took considerable time to cut individual dark hairs on the sides and near the part to eliminate the stark contrast between light in the front and dark in the back. There was a perceptible line that did not look natural. By removing several individual dark hairs I was able to get the light to dark transition to look more gradual and natural. I am taking the wig to my stylist to cut the back to deal with the weird bulge in the lower back. It may be surprising after all of that but I actually think this wig has the potential of being the one - my new favorite.
