I've tried many different brands of smoked salt and always go back to Danish Viking Smoked Sea Salt. It truly is the best flavor and the "secret" ingredient in many dishes I make!

Wow! Just WOW!!! I was at the restaurant where they offered this smoked salt with some of the appetizers they served. I liked is so much that I made my mission to get more of it for my own cooking. It will help to elevate your dishes to a whole new level and bring something extra to them. The smoky flavor is strong straight out of the jar, but you don't need to use much. It goes great on steaks or meats, spreads or whatever you want to add some extra salt and smoky flavor. I am making a smoked salmon on my pellet grill this weekend and this salt would be used as a final touch on top of the fish just to add a sonething extra on top of the glaze as pellet smokers don't produce very deep smoky flavors as compared to big stick burning smoking rigs big BBQ places use. The uses for this seasoning are unlimited and I am happy that I was able to find it. It's a little pricey, but i think it is totally worth it. If you are not sure, just buy a small ammount. You will be back for more.
