Great helmet that fits perfectly with plenty of safety features. I feel more confident and comfortable wearing this helmet riding on whatever surfaces and no matter what the speed I choose safely to ride. The sun visor is a really good feature that is optional and still be available attached to the helmet for when you need it.

About month into my purchase, the front light of the helmet was not fully lit up; I contacted the warranty department and with their help we went over some troubleshooting sequences. They were unable to correct the issue. They issued me another helmet with their deepest apologies and inconvenience. I received the helmet within a week. Brand new with no problems. I am really happy with their products, but most of all their customer service. These products are not cheap (cheap materials). They are built with quality and safety is something I don’t want cut corners. I purchased the back pack and extra lights and accessories. I will probably be purchasing more lights. Thank you

The helmet itself is great, but the customer experience with Unit 1 was poor. I emailed multiple times to ask about fit for large heads, round versus oval shape, length of strap, etc. I also asked about comparison to other major brands like Giro, Bell, and POC (FWIW Giro fits fine in its largest model, but the other two not so great). I never got a response other than the auto-mated "We're working on your request" email. The helmet checked so many boxes for what I wanted in a new helmet, so I decided to order it blind without any answers. Thankfully, everything worked out - almost! My head measures at the larger end of the spectrum, but I have an oval instead of round head. I was happy to find that the helmet fit front-to-back very well with enough room. The helmet had plenty of room side-to-side, and I used the included thicker pads on the sides for a better fit. The only downside the helmet (other than price) is that the chinstrap isn't very long. If you have a big head - and I mean big all the way around - then you may need to worry about the chin strap. I can't make it any looser, but also it wouldn't fit if it were any tighter. I hope that info helps someone!
