Today's Sun is Stormy with a chance of Flares
One of the best ways to see the Sun in White Light. Much sharper than mylar, glass or composite full aperture filters. With the included continuum filter the Sun comes out green. My kit was the photographic option with plenty of ND filters and the 540nm Continuum filter. The green can be tastefully rendered into yellow/orange for more traditional images using image processing software. One thing that sets the Baader unit apart is the projected image visible on the screen at the back of the wedge. With a Sun finder and the screen, I will usually have the Sun centered within 30 seconds of starting my observations. In the olden days this would usually take many frustrating minutes instead. Being able to add a Calcium -K filter later is also a definite advantage. The Baader also comes with a 20-page instructional booklet which helps a lot. I did not find this with other wedges I have owned in the past. Lastly the wedge lets you do your observations with a variety of Refractors/SCT's/Maks. No longer 1 filter for 1 scope. Definitely a gamer changer for me. Some single frame DSLR images below.
