Great shoes, terrible insoles

The shoes themselves are fantastic: look great, soft, comfortable and clearly very well made. However, the insoles they came with are unfortunately very thin and completely flat, with no grip or support around the heel and no arch support at all. That, plus their smooth leather finish, makes my foot slip around in the shoe in a way that makes walking (especially up and down stairs) rather awkward. In addition, due to the wide-fit shape (which is great in itself, and is the reason I chose that model in the first place), finding custom insoles that would fit them is tricky as well. If these boots can be equipped with a different insole, perhaps something more supportive and "grippy", especially around the heel, I would strongly urge you to consider that as an option. If this can be sorted, then as I said, these are great shoes that I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again in the future and recommend. Thank you and best wishes, David
