I received the Glencreag M26FM-B Classic Spanish Cedar Humidor Cabinet with Bottom Drawer (250 Count) in exchange for my honest review, and after spending time with it, I can honestly say it’s exceeded my expectations.
Right out of the box, the cabinet makes a great first impression. It features five spacious storage levels, giving you plenty of room to organize your favorite cigars. The top display window is perfect for showcasing those special sticks, while the five included Spanish cedar dividers make it easy to keep your collection organized however you like.
One thing I was initially unsure about was the use of plexiglass instead of traditional glass. After using it, though, I completely understand the decision. The plexiglass is crystal clear, lightweight, and much more practical for a cabinet that’s meant to be opened, moved, and enjoyed. Combined with the clear front door and the plexiglass-front trays, you get an excellent view of your entire collection without having to open the cabinet.
Each tray features a beautiful geometric cutout design that not only looks great but also allows for proper airflow throughout the humidor. Add in the warm dimmable LED lighting, and this cabinet becomes as much a display piece as it is a humidor. It looks fantastic in the evening and really highlights your collection.
The bottom accessory drawer is another feature I appreciate. It’s the perfect place to store cutters, lighters, and the included dropper used to replenish the four humidifier strips that come with the cabinet. Everything has its place, keeping the setup clean and organized.
Unfortunately, the shipping carrier wasn’t nearly as careful as Glencreag was. The shipping box arrived damaged, the front door had been pushed in, and the shelf holding the hygrometer was broken. Thankfully, I was able to repair it, but I reached out to Glencreag anyway to let them know what had happened.
This is where their customer support truly impressed me.
From the very first response, the support team was professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to making things right. They immediately insisted on sending me a brand-new replacement, even though I had already repaired the damaged cabinet myself, and they even told me to keep the original. It was obvious they cared about making sure I had the experience they intended from the start. Since the damage was clearly caused during shipping, I really appreciated that they stood behind their product without hesitation.
After properly seasoning the Spanish cedar, I added a few Boveda 2-way humidity packs, and the cabinet has been absolutely rock solid. The included hygrometer has been spot on, maintaining consistent humidity exactly where I want it. That’s ultimately what matters most in a humidor, and this one delivers.
Overall, I’m genuinely impressed with the quality, thoughtful design, and performance of the Glencreag M26FM-B. It looks beautiful, keeps my cigars in excellent condition, and is backed by a company that clearly stands behind its products with outstanding customer service.
I’m already looking at several more Glencreag products—especially their 11-count travel humidor—so stay tuned because I’ll be reviewing that one very soon. If it’s anything like this cabinet, I have a feeling it’s going to be another winner.
