Lux Ultra Mesh Shorts (5") - Black

Wanted to love :(

I was SO excited for this order! I ordered three pairs of their 5” inseam shorts. The quality was very good and the packaging is great. However, there were massive gaps at the waist, the spandex is not tight enough to fit to my body. It is definitely a personal fit problem, but it would have been awesome if they were made with a tighter, stretchy material like some other brands. If you have a thicker lower half but small waist, it might not be the best brand to order from. I ordered medium and feel a small would still have had a large waist gap and just squeeze my thighs too much. Again, so wanted to love since the patterns are so cute!!! But I know this brand just won’t be a good fit for shorts for my body type!

Becoming a favorite

Doesn’t roll nor slide down, stays put and high on my waist even with my heavy phone in a side pocket. Never had to tug it up even after 12 miles. Pockets are deep and the slanted opening allows me to find the top without looking. I haven’t used the back pocket yet, but the zipper is nice. Washes well: the reflective dots are good.

Great fit. WILL NOT slide down. The pockets are excellent for my ProMax iPhone. Wore them for both a speed workout and a long run of 13 miles. The extra elastic in the waist band may help with keeping them up, but I’m not sure why it’s there. Washed up well and the stitching is top notch.
