The engineering needs some work. I opted for the oval mounting bracket option. The hole in this bracket is too large for the bulkhead fitting, requiring a washer or bushing to ensure stability of the fitting against the bracket. This would be fine (and a washer is included) except that the bulkhead fitting itself is not long enough to account for two flat washers (one on each side), a lockwasher, a retaining nut, and the thickness of the material you are mounting the system through (such as a truck bumper), while still having enough threaded length to accept the compression fitting that attaches the hose line. The system needs a longer bulkhead fitting and a mounting bracket machined specifically for that fitting’s diameter.
