Brittle Plastic EC8 Connector

Maybe it was just due to the fact that the barn was cold when I was installing these EC8 connectors onto wires, but several attempts cracked the plastic when "tapping" them into place. I watched several methods of assembly on YouTube, and used common sense when distributing force inline used a vice, drill press, hammer etc. Then I just ran out of connectors. I made sure there was no solder accumulated where it shouldn't be on the pins, building up the pin diameter. I wish I would have thought to warm up the plastic slightly first with a heat gun. Maybe next time.
