2009-14 Honda Fit Tow Hook License Plate Mount Bracket Holder

The product I purchased was for my 2011 Honda Fit which had recently gotten new bumpers and I wasn’t keen on destroying the new ones like how the dealer did with the screw in front plates. Ended up finding this company which makes the tow front bracket and decided to give it a try. The product well designed and the instructions to assembling it was straightforward. This is the part where I am rating lower otherwise it would’ve gotten a 5 star. When it got to the installment, it didn’t seem to want to go in to front tow area. I even brought it to my mechanic in case it was that the threads on the tow needed to be cleared out due to rust before installing that bracket again. Came to learn that the bolt pattern of the bracket was different than the one the car has even though it was advertised for the gen my car is. My mechanic managed to make it work and get it in but not to the point where it’d strip. Back to the good parts. It is stable and the license plate is very well secure on to the back plate. I do like that it is a adjustable so if I want to move it just a bit to make it look nicer on the car I can. Overall, it’s a good product and would recommend it but the only caution I’d give is make sure that the bolt pattern that attach the bracket assembly to the place where the tow hinge would go is the same.
