Cute but terrible fit

How is it possible for a headband to be painfully tight with the plastic sticky adhesive they put on the inside, but at the same time constantly fall further back on your head to the point that you have to keep adjusting it multiple times an hour? Sucks, because the gingham pattern is super cute!
