I have been looking for plans for this EXACT drying rack for quite some time.

First time buyer

This was my first time trying one of Zoe's plans and it was great. I definitely messed up drilling the dowel holes the first time (making the template was a little confusing). I accidentally drilled out the side of the 1x2 - but I was able to make a new side without having to buy more wood! The finished product looks great. I opted for a flat poplar plywood instead of bead board on the inside and it worked great. Magnets ended up being more expensive than I expected and the room for error was very small - so, I would recommend using a plate like they mentioned in the instructions. I purchased 5 feet of chain and it ended up being perfect. I decided to use monkey hooks and D rings (and one command strip to prevent bumping the wall) to hang the drying rack above my washer and dryer. I wasn't going into studs so that was the best solution I could come up with. So glad I took on this project! Took me about 3 days from start to finish.
