The EF Ultra Flex nib is the real reason to buy this pen: surprising line variation for the price, snaps back cleanly, and the EF baseline stays fine enough for everyday notes. Took a tiny bit of nib tuning to get the flow where I wanted under flex, but that’s expected with flex nibs and entirely worth it. Excellent value at this price point.
