If I had to do it again I would just get another pair of the 2n1 shorts. The golf shorts is made of much thicker and stiffer material. Because of how the liner is sewn in to the waist band the waist band is not as stretchy and stiff. Quality is excellent for what it is but I now know I prefer the thinner material and the more stretchy material of the 2n1 shorts

My first Bird Dogs shorts

I like these shorts. They feel high quality, I like the pocket system, and they fit true to size, BUT...as soon as I took them out of the box, they immediately felt heavy. I chose the built-in liner and assume the liner serves as your underwear, so I wore these commando (new experience for me). I live in NC and it gets really hot in the summer, so I would say these shorts were not the most breathable on a 90+ degree day but the style and the fit made up for the extra weight.

Returns costly

Bought 2 pairs of shorts for my husband since I wasn’t sure which would fit him better. When I returned 1 pair, there was a $9 re-stocking fee and $15+ to ship them back, even though I had used the QR code/ shipping label supplied by Birddogs. He likes the shorts … but the return costs lost you a repeat customer.
