Pictures Don't Do Them Justice

This is the most beautiful deck of cards I've ever handled. The gold foil on back and front gleams in the light like the glint of dragon's gold in a long-forgotten hoard. The artwork is exquisite--especially the two jokers that combine to make single mural of Beowulf locked in battle with the dragon. I'm tempted to frame them, but I also really want to play with them. The deck is sturdy and feels good in your hands; the cardstock is thick and high-quality. If I have any criticism it is that the back and front look similar enough that you don't instantly see which is which. These were a steal, and I kind of want to get a second deck so I can frame the whole thing.

Good cards, mismatched art styles

The art on the spades definitely doesn't fit with the rest of the set. Otherwise good cards. Shuffle feels good, and the rest of the art is great.
