Dream Theater 'Majesty' Edition

I’ll start with these are the best headphones I’ve ever owned and as a musician being able to hear all the instruments in the background without it being compressed is phenomenal. My only issue is the shells are very thin plastic and very cheap feeling even compared to the standard heavys one that are on them at the start. Also the company they ship through is horrible in my area. Customer service was very slow by both companies. For those two reasons I had to drop a star on the review.

Amazing headphones!

Amazing headphones with a sound quality that just blew me away! You can hear every little detail in the music, as if you're standing right there in the recording studio. These headphones are so much better than other (and more expensive) headphones I have had in the past. Once you tried Heavys, you never go back!

I have so many positive things to say about these cans. For starters, they are marketed to heavy music fans. They are fantastic for that. The multiple drivers provide a level of separation that makes them sound truly alive. Drums, bass, guitars, synth and vocals all have their place in a mix and these deliver everything promised. Now, they exceed elsewhere just as well. Jazz fans will love these. That upright bass is so present. Modern jazz artists and adjacent like Marcus Miller really sound fantastic. Fleetwood Mac even comes to life. These are built beautifully and really bring my own mixes to life as a reference point. They are constructed beautifully and fit on larger head profiles like a glove. Are these going to be nice and lightweight for the gym? No, but that's not what they're for. They make stuff for that. I bought these with the Dream Theatre shells and the entire artist catalog is punchy and alive! Buy your set now.
