Amazing light, meh software

This light is exactly what I needed for my living room to be more vibey and relaxing. The colors are bright and insanely vibrant but I also love that I can just change it to a warm white and have it be a normal floor lamp whenever I want. Love how sleek and minimal it is. Very easy to assemble and I had no issues with squishing the silicone light strip into the metal chassis. My only gripe is the software. Setup was actually pretty easy, but the experience of managing and creating scenes is generally poor. Many controls and processes are unintuitive, colors will completely change between saving them and adding them to a scene, and HomeKit integration isn’t ideal. I think there are some significant limitations with Matter (so not necessarily this product’s “fault”) but I hate that I can’t activate any of my scenes with Siri. I can really only use Siri to turn it on and off, set a sleep timer (actually very useful), and change it to a solid static color. So it’s underwhelming voice control, but then the Nanoleaf app lacks some of those functions, so it doesn’t feel like either option is especially good. Still, the physical product is just so so good that I can overlook the middling software experience and fully recommend this floor lamp, especially if it’s on sale. I don’t own any other Nanoleaf gear so I can’t speak to the experience of having it all be synced together, but I’d bet it’s probably fairly good with the possibility of sometimes being amazing.

Great lights for mood lighting

I use these lights very simply, I do not do any fancy patterns. I have it in a tall corner area and use it for mood lighting mostly. It's a good product, I think it could be built a bit more sturdy.
