Spider Pen X

Product arrived earlier than expected. At first, it looked like it was missing the battery. There was a spot under the package that had a place for the battery but it turns out that the battery was already in the pen. It was ready to go right out of the box. There was a little bit of an issue getting used to fixing thread breakage but if you have ever owned Tarantula or Tarantula 2 you should be familiar with how to reset it. It's easier if you disconnect the battery first. Like any ITR, you have to watch your lighting. That being said, it's still very undetectable. It's average strength for thin the thread is. If you exercise good control over the retraction you should have minimal thread breakage. Just don't let it shoot back full power back to the pen or it will definitely break. As someone very familiar with IT and related devices, this is the best one on the market that I have found. The only thing that can compete is the VENOM reel which is not motorized giving it a shorter thread distance. I am highly satisfied with Spider Pen X.

Cool device

I like it. Working with IT isn't always the easiest. When the IT broke on me it was not so simple to fix as I had thought. Thats not why I knocked a star since thats most likely a me problem. The clip part of the pen and the top are not quite as nice feeling as the rest of the device and the top is a bit too loose for my liking. But overall a solid ITR.
