Have tried this tool on pen blanks. Cuts well. Also tried rounding a spindle blank. Cuts sharp ends off well but the tool can be a bit aggressive. I will try a bowl as soon as I get the 2 angled tools. Planning on demonstrating a bowl turning with these tools to my Woodturners group in the Fall.

AR Simple Scraper

I turn wood/resin hybrid items and the simple scraper gives me a smooth cut without resin chipping. After waiting the video online my learning curve was minimal using the oval tool. The large rectangular shank lays well on the tool rest making it easy to control the cut angle. Basically the best hybrid tool I own.
