I have 4 long rides on these pads now and they modulation they provide over the stock pads is definitely an improvement, they’re quite, and have a great bite when you need to smash the brakes. But be careful, you might be in for a world of surprises if you grab a little too much especially with the mavens, it’s easy to OTB if you’re not used to the power.

Really impressed with Loam Goat brake pads!

I have tried both the Loam Goat gravity and sintered pads for Mavens. Being a heavier rider at 225lbs, I found the sintered pads to be just as good as OEM sintered pads. And I feel the longevity will be better than OEM because of more pad material. You cannot beat Loam Goat pads for quality and value, and I highly recommend trying them out for yourself!

I met the owner of Loam Goat on the trail Specifically the bottom of a double black trail with the initials of NN. Mt Seymour previously. He definitely understands what mountain biking is and has worked on releasing some great products. Recently ordered some LG pads they are sure stoppers and deliver as advertised. Speaking of delivery after ordering they arrived very quickly.
