Keeping my old Onkyo surround receiver going!

After 23 years of service, I replaced my Panasonic plasma with a new Samsung smart tv. While I was getting AV from Directv in and out of receiver as before, I was not getting audio for the Samsung apps like Amazon and Youtube. I ordered and installed this device. At first I still had no audio. Reading the support advice again, I installed new certified for eARC HDMI cables. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

Solved my outdoor Zone 2 and Zone 3 issues. Does exactly what it says it should do and accommodates all the sources I needed. Very happy. Thanks.

DVD to party speakers

I was able to send the HDMI signal from a DVD player to two party speaker in stereo format.
