Britt X Ultralight Work Pant in Navy Ripstop

I love these pants

This is my second pair of Britt X Ultralight work pants. My other pair (in flax) is still going strong, though after many washes and perma-press dryer visits, they're a tiny bit shorter than they used to be. They're also a lot more stained, and since I love them so much, and like to wear them to places where stained pants are not as acceptable as they are in my garden, I had to have a second pair. Looking forward to happy years with my new pair, too.

Fit is great, love fabric.

I now own all 3 colors of this pant. Love the fit and the Ripstop fabric. I wear them for gardening and hiking in warmer weather. The latest I own (Britt X ultralight in Navy Ripstop) has been worn in extremely hot humid weather gardening. The ripstop is more of a light crisp durable fabric with moderate stretch and doesn’t cling or make me feel hot. I have been rolling them up into a crop length and they stay rolled up and do not creep down. Hmmmm, what about a cropped length then?? (I do tend to wear crops during the extreme heat of summer) These wash up well - Cool wash, dryer fluff partial dry, then finish with air dry. Fit is great as in most Dovetail pants. I do prefer the slim leg fit. I am petite build, size 6, short inseam and have only had one pair where the waist had a bit of a gap. Great pants, issues with fit

I broke these pants in for a week at work and tackling suspension work on my car over the weekend. They're very light and good at keeping me cool but don't feel super cheap. I love the pocket arrangement -- these allow me to store pens securely on my left side, big points from a lefty. The hammer loop on the right side gets a bit in the way of the hip pocket but I love how deep that pocket is to make sure my phone or some other tool doesn't fall out. The front pockets are also deep enough to comfortably put a smartphone in and be able to sit down comfortably. I had issues with sizing on these as I usually do with dovetails. I wear a 4 in maven slims (which are a perfect fit with a little extra room in the waist which is fine with a belt). I tried these in a 4 and I was swimming in them. I went down to a 2 and they were still too large in the waist and seat. Down to a 0 fits nicely in the legs and is still loose in the waist but wearable with a belt. This size also rides up in the pelvis in front a little bit uncomfortably when I sit down. Overall I like the pants a lot despite their minor flaws and sizing issues and will probably get a pair in green!
