Wore it in Telluride for a week and it was perfect for temps 45 - 55 degrees in light rain. Quality vest with deep upper pockets and high around the neck. Worth the money!

The Layer I Didn’t Knkw I
I bought the Backeddy Vest to add to a versatile layering system for fishing, and it has exceeded my expectations. The fit in a size Medium is athletic without being restrictive, and it layers perfectly over my Themo 150 hoody and Thermo 350 hoody. It adds noticeable core warmth without adding bulk to my casting arms. Before buying, I expected the vest to be thicker. It’s actually lighter than I imagined, but after wearing it in Montana on cool mornings and evenings, I understand the design philosophy. It provides just enough warmth while remaining highly breathable and comfortable to fish in. When the day warms, the folds into a tight profile and fits easily in my sling pack. The Eclipse color looks excellent, the construction is first-rate, and it has quickly become one of the most versatile pieces in my fishing arsenal. If you’re looking for a heavy insulated vest, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a purpose-built fishing layer that integrates seamlessly into a layering system, I highly recommend it. The various features are extremely well thought out.
