Good, strong knife...
This showed up very sharp. The handle is large enough to wear gloves and provides a good grip for chopping. I use a short lanyard for safety. 14C28N is a good steel for this as it's very tough and rust resistant. It's also easy to sharpen. The blade is thick, but not too thick, making this more nimble than some other knives in this class. You will still want a companion knife for fine work. The blade on this is too broad to get into tight spots. The curly birch scales are very beautiful.

Beautifully Crafted
It’s a pricey knife, but the fit and finish on mine makes it worth every penny. This is my first Norwegian knife that’s full tang and the only Helle that I own. I saw/read reviews about QC issues that made me concerned/cautious about purchasing, but Ragweed Forge always comes through with quality products. Thank you!
