Great shirt for fishing, hiking, and hanging outdoors

This is my second Loggerhead Hoodie from Howler. I use it primarily when fishing or anytime that I want a breathable longsleeve layer with UV protection and a hood. The design is simple and functional, and it stays cool in humid Southern summers. The few bells and whistles that go beyond the basic hoodie form are useful additions. I like thumb holes on the sleeves of these kinds of shirts because I am frequently using them as a layer and having the thumb holes keeps the sleeves in place when adding or shedding layers. Both the kangaroo and stash pockets get used a lot when I wear this shirt. The orientation of the zipped stash pocket is really brilliant and is the perfect out-of-the-way-but-still-nearby place to store things like floatant, extra leaders, etc.

All season hoodie fan

I worshipped sun as a young man and respect it more as an older man. Loggerhead hoodies are a go to for this retired person…a zipper pocket for wallet and key fob and kangaroo pouch to get stuff from home to truck. I’ve accumulated 6-7 of these through the years…therefore I am a fan😎. I’m tall and these sleeves actually fit.

Perfect all season fishing hoodie

I've got this guy in about 6 different color combos and its my preferred fishing hoodie all year long. I'm 5'9" 185lbs and usually between a Med/Large but I go with the Large in the Loggerhead so that it breathes nicely. 5-Stars - huge fan!
