Nightshade Underpinning Dress in Antique Black

Lovely, well-made, can serve as a combo slip/light corset or as a unique summer dress. I usually go between 2X and 3X for La Femme en Noir sizes, but both were sold out when I was ready to buy, so I took a chance on the 4X, and I'm glad I did. The boning in the bodice is surprisingly firm and there is no stretch; a smaller size would not have fit. The fabric is a lightweight but solid woven cotton, so it won't get too hot in warm weather. The skirt has a lovely flow and drape. And because it's fairly light, it could go under another dress without adding too much bulk. The only downside is that I'm small-framed and since I went with 4X, the armholes are very large on me, but that's a minor issue compared to how nice the rest is.

This is a beautiful dress! The fabric is very good quality. Its very flattering,comfortable and there is a slight stretch. My measurements are 42-34-45 and I bought the large which is very snug but I feel it just makes me more snatched so im all right with it.
