This company is Great!! The Emerging Mycologist Bundle is such a great choice and so easy to use. My first flush of oyster mushrooms filled a 10" skillet. They tasted delicious!! I just can't wait to eat the Lions mane!!!

Disappointing Bundle

I try to support smaller businesses whenever I can but this unfortunately was not a positive purchase. Blue oyster fruiting bodies turned out nicely but Lions Mane and Shiitake didn't produce any. I reached out to Fungi Ally support for help dialing in the fruiting conditions but it two weeks for a reply and by then the blocks developed mold. I let them know this but it's been another two weeks without reply. Instead, I bought a North Spore block and it's been fruiting easily. The price is lower at Fungi Ally but was not worth it in my case.

Everything is growing!

The oysters popped up first, I made myself fried mushrooms for two days with that first flush. The lions mane haven’t finished yet they look like puffs not icicles but I look forward to eating those soon! The shiitake has only shown one button so far, but they tend to take longer to grow and it has only been 13 days after refrigeration.
